Imperative Care names Chuck Alpuche as president and COO

Imperative Care announced the promotion of Chuck Alpuche to president and chief operating officer. Alpuche joined the stroke care company as COO in 2023, bringing over 40 years of senior operational experience.
CEO Fred Khosravi praised Alpuche’s role in driving operational excellence and quality improvements for patient outcomes. His responsibilities have grown to include strategic oversight of the executive team and long-term organisational planning. Khosravi credited Alpuche with aligning all functions and businesses under a unified strategy.
Before Imperative Care, Alpuche served as EVP and COO at Insulet, an automated insulin delivery technology company. He retired from Insulet in late 2022 before joining Imperative Care a year later. Alpuche also spent three decades at PepsiCo, rising to senior vice president of supply chain operations.
He said he joined Imperative Care because of its mission, team, and innovations in stroke and vascular care. Alpuche highlighted the company’s progress over the past two years and its growing impact on blood clot disorder treatment. He expressed confidence in advancing long-term strategy and operational capabilities to support thrombectomy innovations.
